A reliable selection starts with the medium, process limits, installation, and control-system requirements. Use the three paths below to narrow the technology before comparing individual models.
Level measurement
Measure liquids or bulk solids in tanks, vessels, and silos. Start with medium, measuring range, vapor or dust, foam, nozzle geometry, temperature, pressure, and hazardous-area classification.
Radar suits difficult vapor, dust, foam, narrow nozzles, and long ranges. Ultrasonic is a practical lower-cost option for clean liquids and open channels. Contact probes suit compact vessels when the medium is compatible.
Measure conductive liquids, non-invasive pipe flow, or gas consumption. Define medium conductivity, pipe size and material, flow range, pressure, temperature, installation constraints, and straight-run availability.
Electromagnetic meters suit conductive liquids with no moving parts. Clamp-on ultrasonic meters avoid pipe cutting. Thermal mass meters are designed for gas measurement and control.
Measure gauge, absolute, or differential pressure in process equipment and OEM systems. Confirm normal and surge pressure, wetted materials, process connection, ambient conditions, and required accuracy.
Transmitters integrate with PLC and control systems. Digital gauges support local indication and retrofit work. Hazardous sites require the exact protection concept and certificate scope to be checked before ordering.
